Help?

This past Saturday night was prom night for El Dorado High School. On Thursday my son called a local flower shop and ordered a wrist corsage for his date. When I went to pick it up for him late Saturday morning, there was a problem. One of the excuses I received was that my son had ordered the corsage late. Needless to say, at the end of this encounter I found myself without prom flowers and was in something of a panic.

Not wanting to disappoint my son or his date, I went to Placerville Flowers on Main just sure I was sunk as it was, at this point, less than three hours until the commencement of the evening’s festivities. When I walked into Placerville Flowers on Main, I was met with a smile. When I explained my situation, I was told, “Of course it’s not too late! What color is she wearing?” Within 10 minutes, she had put my fears to rest and assured me all would be well. Within 45 minutes, I was able to return home with an absolutely lovely wrist corsage that my son could be proud to present to his date.

They turned a bad morning around in just a matter of minutes and helped me avoid a prom night catastrophe. We have only been here in Placerville for about 2 1/2 years, but when we shop at the downtown Placerville stores, we feel like we are shopping with friends. Winter Hill, Renfro’s, The Bookery, Zia’s, Candy Strike as well as Placerville Flowers on Main and Robinson’s Pharmacy, just to name a few, are part of what makes us proud to show off our new hometown to friends and family who visit from all over the country.
