Cameron Park board member out of control

EDITOR: The Cameron Park CSD has a rogue board member. This director is Scott McNeil.

The reasons for him taking the positions that he does is because he does not have the intellect or aptitude to operate in a logical or rational manner. The methods he uses to survive are verbal attacks on other board members and members of the public.

He does not understand the district policies that are in place to prohibit him from taking these actions. The board president does not take control and stop Scott McNeil’s unethical behavior. He has verbally attacked female members of the board and members of the community.

At the June board meeting he was completely out of control. He got in my face, stating over and over again that he wanted me thrown out of the meeting. I tried to explain to him that as one board member he no authority to expel me from the meeting and that I was not leaving. He continued with his verbal threats and demands to me and other members of the community throughout the meeting.

Although all of this was a disruption to the meeting the board president never took control to stop McNeil’s childish behavior. He not only is not an asset to the district, but with this type of behavior he is a real detriment. He should either resign or be recalled.

I was sitting right next to the 16 year old Eagle scout and his mother when you started displaying the vulgar degenerate signs at the public meeting. You Bill should be ashamed of yourself. But your not! You are a typical bully that gets away with all the despicable crap, but would be the first one to go cry to someone else if the same was done to you. In a word Bill, you are a coward! If your life is so empty that you have to resort to this type of behavior I pity you. McNeil did nothing of the sort that you have stated in your letter. You are a liar and a creepy old man that should go crawl under a rock with your pals Lillipud and Barbara. Or, maybe put your collective sick energy into something positive for the community? Oh...I forgot. Cowards dont like to work hard!

Brenda, I hate to say this but you were not sitting next to this teen nor his Mother. I was sitting directly in front of them and there was nobody sitting next to them. In fact I can remember exactly who was in the immediate vicinity. First row, myself, Irene and Bob Arnold and the representative from Parker Development. Second row was Dawn Hodson from the paper and then the teen and his Mom. In the third was the board member from the El Dorado Hills CSD, back row, 2 Cal Fire personnel. If you are going to write on this blog, two things to remember, use your real name and tell the truth. If you want to call me out, come do it to my face. I am going to take some members of the board down, RECALL THEM.

Dawn or others present could verify the truth.
