Car break-ins on the rise

By From page A5 | April 04, 2014

It sure seems that the automobile break-ins and other home burglaries have not only increased, but are spreading to areas that normally did not have this sort of problem.

On our road, four cars were hit on Friday night. Now, I’m not saying they are related, but it sure seems so, that, after the shut down of the homeless camp, which attracted a whole lot of out-of-town homeless tweakers and drug addicts to our community, we are getting hit as these homeless start scattering around the county with no place to go and nothing good to do.

It was a bad, bad idea to encourage living in a tent for any length of time. It’s not helped anyone that wouldn’t have pulled themselves up anyway. Now we are left with a mess of break-ins from tweakers running around.
