I want to thank all the good friends and family that helped make the Celebration of Life on Aug. 18 for my husband, Len Stroud, the wonderful occasion he would have loved. Good stories were exchanged and shared with the group, old friends met, lots of good food was enjoyed, and just a generally terrific gathering was had.
For all of you who attended, or wanted to attend but couldn’t, for those of you who came really long distances to be there, old school friends, neighbors, business friends, for those who worked to set up and clean up, for those who kindly brought food, for family who put together a loving tribute, and for all of you who just shared a love and respect for Len, I thank you so much. I can’t even name them all. A time like this makes one realize just how many dear friends Len and I and his family have. You are all the best, and Len and I have much the been better for having known you.
