On Tuesday, Nov. 5, there will be an election for the EID Board of Directors for Divisions 2 and 4. As all Californians know, our history shows that water is thicker than blood. In addition to future rate hikes, there are many other factors that affect our water supply and quality.
For those of us who reside in Division 4, I recommend a vote for Dr. Dale Coco. He has devoted much energy and time to the study of our water needs here in El Dorado County, and the history and effect of past EID decisions. He is not looking for an entrée to future political office, but the opportunity to serve the public. We are fortunate to have him on the ballot. I would encourage you to examine his qualifications and compare them to his opponent. Review Dr. Coco’s Website (coco4eid.com). You will see that he provides more detail and depth than the other candidate. It is the type of analytical approach that the job demands.
