So, even though we are getting more crude, we can’t do anything with it… (Add to that Hurricanes & Refinery fires, other pipeline issues that effect refining).
Demand over the last 20 years has Skyrocketed in China & India. Think about supply & demand.

Alaskans get a subsidy from the Oil Companies via the state for leasing rights to state owned land.

Lastly, read up on OPEC & how our oil gets added to other countries, which then is calculated (via supply & demand, & speculation) to determine the price per barrel.

One of the most powerful people in Washington DC is nancy pelosi who is a representative from Frisco and thanks to people like her our energy rich state pays more for gas and the third highest gas tax in the country. They want you paying more so they can save the environment and pocket millions. How much money do people like pelosi get from Saudi Arabia?
