I assure you they are not communicate with each other via Morse code. Would be happier if the work was done durning the day and really block traffic, I think not!
You just can’t make anybody happy! You whine when the highway needs repair. Whine when a wildlife tunnel is installed. You whine when the highway construction is on going. You whine at the cost and where the money shouldn’t be spent. And when it’s done you continue to whine about the whip off from the new asphalt.
Marie just how many chips do you get in your car? How many chips did you get in your windows? Have you turn these problems into Caltrans? They do have funds for these repairs. One day of normal traffic operation the whip off will be gone. The contractor for Caltrans has street sweepers on site. They are being used. A small bit of whip off new a new asphalt overlay is unavoidable.

We spend so much to have a vehicle and to have it chipped and dinged like this, I feel that Caltrans should have a funds to repair the vehicles it damages.
