EDITOR: “We have no more right to consume happiness without giving it than consume wealth without not producing it.” — George Bernard Shaw
In regards to an article run on Feb. 4, “State’s view of climate change,” to preempt the serious threat seen by the stupes in Sacramento, we must consider this “threat” imparts only on those who have gases in their greenhouse, corn in their car’s gas tank, and no CO2 in their 7-up or other soft beverage. The rest of us rest in perfect contentment with prospects of carbon’s vitality, assured even more now by the practice and presence of a meteorite bursting in carboniferous strata over our heads, to accent our earthly capacities to find carbon a many splendored thing in heaven and earth.
But political deadheads, victims of their own chagrin, don’t understand that in physics versus geographical politics science does not mix. Their little heads can’t stand the tangible truth. They flow into our neighborhoods to expect we eat from some primitive gruel outside their castles.
So, are you kidding me? My third grade class knew that when standing in a circle around a beautiful green tree they exhaled CO2 and the tree appreciated it happily and returned the oxygen it left for them to breathe in wonderful clean air.

Thanks, June. I might add that scientists need to stop prostituting themselves political and regulatory pimps who fund supporting "science".

California Air Resources Board CARB, is led not by a scientist, but by a woman who has an undergraduate Degree in Russian Literature and a Law Degree. CARB is one of the most Anti-Business Government Agencies in California. SWRCB is running a close second. www.killcarb.org
