EDITOR: The League of Women Voters of El Dorado County would like to inform  voters of their chance to hear and submit questions to candidates for Placerville City Council 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 1, at Town Hall.

Monday, Oct. 15, voters can hear and submit questions to the candidates for the El Dorado Hills Community Services District at the Pavilion at 6:30 p.m.

At the Gold Trail Grange on Sept. 26 at 7:30  p.m. there will be a presentation of the reasons for the league’s support of specific propositions on the November ballot and a short discussion about those the league recommends voting against. Dinner is at 6:30 p.m. and the public is invited to attend.

    questions for Carol Patton 1. Why does she still support the CONVICTED criminal Dave Machado? 2. Why did she not support the 1/4 cent sale tax increase to help cover the increase in the Sewer and Water raters? 3. Why did she support the redevelopment scam? Why did she support the redevelopment scam even though her friend the convicted criminal Dave Machado used it his personal benefit? 4. Why did she and continues to support the idiotic roundabout and the waste of tax payers money to design the ridiculous thing?
