Dave Pratt for Supervisor

By From page A5 | August 25, 2014

Without a doubt, Dave Pratt is the most qualified candidate for District 2’s representative on the El Dorado County Board of Supervisors. Dave’s priorities, integrity and his manner of discharging his duties as a former El Dorado County Agricultural Commissioner, current member of the county Planning Commission, president of a local fire safe council, farmer, vintner, grange member and small business person demonstrate the qualities we need in a public servant.

He understands the significance of attention to detail while clearly understanding the big picture related to the myriad of issues facing us today. He is capable of comfortably working within the structure of government. He understands that business, tourism and agriculture form the backbone of our district as well as that of our county.

We especially need Dave Pratt’s leadership to preserve District 2’s diversity, promote its economic development and to protect the interests of the citizenry at large. Dave’s not afraid to ask the tough questions, nor is he afraid to answer them.

Perhaps most important from our perspective is that he is a great listener, and a tried and true consensus builder. We deserve no less, and are therefore proud to be casting our votes for Dave Pratt on Sept. 9.
