I don`t shop on broadway anymore, about a year ago i was harrased by a group of homeless near McDonalds. When you put in homeless shelters , camps and mess halls your asking for trouble. Other than the very few legit homeless persons, i say withdraw all help and see any city look better, the rest of the homeless, well, let em be homeless,

The only problem I have encountered is that one guy who is always around McDonald’s and Rite Aid. Don’t ever bother to try to help him or offer him anything, he will turn on you.

I, too, have encountered no problems, either on Upper Broadway nor on the hiking trail.

I am happy to report that I was not approached by, bullied or accosted by homeless people during my trip to grocery outlet today. I did not see anyone urinating or otherwise ‘relieving themselves’.
the overnight temp in placerville was 24 degrees. a little compassion might be in order.
