DHS friend or foe?

By From page A5 | March 06, 2013

2,700 new armored vehicles? That is a lot of firepower for an agency that is supposed to be protecting the population when we have a military that is protecting the population. The problem I find is that we don’t have a threat that requires us to have armored vehicles roaming our streets, (our NG have all the armor that would be needed in an emergency). Are they for protection or aggression? 1.6 billion bullets — that is enough to wipe out the population of North America several times over. What is going on with our government? We are underfunded and underwater and yet we can afford to duplicate our military? Something is going on behind our backs that is sinister in all forms of the word.
