When I was a student at El Dorado High, I didn’t care much about the history or traditions of my school’s past. Although I didn’t really care for school in any way back then, now that I’m grown, I sure do like to relive glory days of those times. Little things, like seeing pictures of yourself and friends as young athletes before we all had to grow up, can bring back the good feeling of those times. There was a dedicated area for this tradition in the El Dorado High School Gymnasium once. Framed pictures of our young heroes of those times. The pictures were taken down. I think we should embrace tradition for current and future student athletes. Put the pictures of the athletes back up, and add new pictures of student athletes so they can look back at those times.
