Stracener’s courtroom many times, I wholeheartedly disagree with your endorsement of Hoffman.

Voters can’t determine how he operates in his closed courtroom. Well, I can tell them: I, and the other court-appointed special advocates I’ve talked to, have found Judge Stracener to be questioning, knowledgeable, compassionate, thoughtful and thorough in his deliberations.

The bewildering campaign mounted against him in this county is so far from any truth that I can only agree with The Bee that it may have more to do with political cronyism and personal ambition than with the welfare of endangered children of El Dorado County.
