As you exit Highway 50 at Cambridge Road entering into Cameron Park, have you noticed how bad the corner looks? “Ghetto” comes to mind.

The businesses at this intersection are littered with poorly written, hand-painted signs and flags of all kinds. You can barely see the postage collection box.

Could this happen in El Dorado Hills, Shingle Springs or Placerville? I think not.

Upon confronting an official as to what can be done, I was informed that El Dorado County has no sign ordinance nor any CC&Rs pertaining to businesses. As a residential owner, I do have CC&Rs to comply with. Do we not live in the same area?

Hey, folks, some help is needed here. Let’s make an effort to improve the visual impact on our community.
