Mr. Altshuler, no one is violating your Constitutional rights to self defense (or not); of your right to free expression; of your right to freely, peaceably assemble; or your right to worship as you see fit; nor any of the other rights purchased with the blood and treasure of fellow citizens and patriots. I invite you to examine some of the historic atrocities committed just in the short time the United States has been in existence, mostly perpetrated by the governments on their own helpless citizenry — men, women and children. You may say that can never happen here. I say, look around you and see — it is happening here and now in the good ol’ U.S. of A. Bad as they are, tragic beyond words, yes. But they don’t hold a candle to what a lawless, rapacious, murderous government can do.
If you don’t want it to happen here, it’s past time to do something about it while some time is left. Part of that something is to retain the ability to resist. That means to vote out the evil-doers and keep your powder dry. You may need it. Man up. Fight back.
