Friends of Seniors held our third annual Wine in the Vines on Saturday, Aug. 2. This event was held at the picturesque Sierra Vista Winery. We would like to extend to them our sincere appreciation for their support and kindness to us over the last three years.
Our sponsors for this year’s Wine in the Vines were: Gold Country Retirement, Sierra Vista Winery, Silver Lining Transitions, Snowline Hospice and Windfall. We want to recognize them and express our gratitude to them for their sponsorship. We thoroughly enjoyed the music of Hickory Winds, and appreciate their contribution to our event. And thank you to everyone who donated items and baskets for our drawing and Giving Tree. Not only does it add excitement to the evening, but many guests walked away with special prizes.
Thanks to the generosity of our community and of those who attended this wonderful, fun-filled event. Friends of Seniors is able to continue our ongoing effort to raise funds in support of senior programs and services in El Dorado County. Friends of Seniors is an all-volunteer organization, so 100 percent of the profit is returned to the senior community in the form of grants.
