Garon and Obamacare

EDITOR:

Wow, more comical drivel from Mr. Garon supporting that giant cluster Obamacare. I won’t bore you with a two-page letter like his because this won’t take long.

Trying to defend men buying maternity coverage he talks like this should be normal because of the doctrine of shared risk. The idea of men sharing the risk of becoming pregnant should be on the Blue Collar Comedy Tour. Shared risk is an insurance concept, but it refers to risks that a group shares. Anybody can get cancer so the risk is shared among everybody. Risk is shared by those for whom the risk exists.

Mr. Garon speaks of Fox News and the Mountain Democrat trying to sabotage Obamacare. I don’t think anybody could do a better job of sabotaging Obamacare than the people who wrote this albatross. Things like “pass it to find out what’s in it.” Statements like that should elicit nothing but laughter from those in possession of an IQ above room temperature.

The Federal Register from 2010 proves that the administration was well aware of the millions that would lose their individual coverage and the many more millions that would lose their employer coverage. Continuing to say different was an outright lie. And just wait till you get to the sticker shock. Even if you get subsidized premiums that the rest of us pay for you, you will find that the deductibles have skyrocketed. Often over 40 percent.

Affordable care? When you see how much more of it you will be paying for out of pocket before your insurance even comes into play you may debate that affordable part.

And that’s not all. If you take prescription medications you may find that the government’s approved list is much smaller than your current insurance. And if you need a drug not listed federally you will pay full price out of pocket for it. And that full price, which can easily reach thousands of dollars per year, does not count toward your deductible.

No, Mr. Garon, Obamacare’s biggest problems are not Fox News and the Mountain Democrat. Obamacare’s biggest problems are looking at it in the mirror.

Garon and James want Medicare for all. Just as long as they still get their free government funded Tri-care. Then they'd say well we earned it. So those two want everyone to have the same except for those who are more special. Oprah says that we can't change these white people's minds. We'll just have to wait until they all die...

I've answered this on another thread, but will repeat here: Mr. Garon does not get TRICARE. It's a military thing and open to every citizen in EDC. Sign up, serve 20/30 years and if you survive the meat grinder you too can have TRICARE. Easy to get and available to all in EDC.

James, you DID NOT earn that TRICARE because you did not build that UH1. You did not build that parachute. You did not build that tank, fixed wing, barracks or ship. I did. Cookie did. Evelyn did. Dee did, and we don't get TRICARE. Give it up, Colonel

$5 says that Alger and 'Irony' have Health Care coverage ALREADY...... Another $5 says that if they 'include' their family in their health care coverage they cover 'maternity' care ALREADY..... This fight over 'Health Care Coverage' has to do with "I don't give a Sh!$ about anyone else."

There is no relationship between a complete understanding of the abysmal failures of leftist theology and somehow not "giving a Sh!$ about anyone else". We are all aware of how the vacuous argument works dink. We are all well educated and experienced in the lame tactics of leftists. You and only you care about people and anyone who doesn't blindly support your half baked guaranteed failure solutions is guilty of not being compassionate. Have you ever noticed that every single solution leftism offers includes more government and mountains of other people's money? 600+ federal government agencies later and trillions in debt we are worse off than ever. It makes my head spin even attempting to find any evidence of reason or logic in people like you.

Phil, you and others did not build those things. Government contractors did. You surprise me -- you're envious of TRICARE too. Life is tough, draftees don't get TRICARE, and I'm sorry for you and the others. Unlike the others, however, you had a choice and could have reenlisted for the additional 18 years needed. Guess you didn't want TRICARE after all. I have TRICARE and too bad for you - hahahahahahaha, I feel like a Republican, I have TRICARE and you don't!!!!!!!

James, yes you have TRICARE, but remember, it is paid for by single Moms, pensioners, coal miners , construction workers, and everyone who pays taxes or contributed Social Security. The money that went to Social Security for benefits was/is stolen by the Government to pay for all the goodies you receive/received from the Government. A thank you to those who have done without so you can live well seems in order. Remember you chose to be a military person.

Poltroon. A utter coward? Really Phil. How crass would I be if I called you an utter coward for not serving 20/30 years. A little over the line don't you think. RA, OK, you could have reenlisted for 17 years to get TRICARE. Dee, of course everything the government does is funded by the people. I gave you my thanks for my salary and benefits by my service to you on the ramparts of freedom. I think we are even. No, Dee, I'm not going to call you a poltroon. Who would be so crass? By the way, I love your mind.

OK, going to head out to the movies, but I won't enjoy it because I won't be able to get out of my mind that I'm an utter coward for having served in the Army. You know, Republicans love the military when the flags are flying and the troops march off to war. But, when they return they are poltroons (utter cowards). Speaks volumes for the Republicans and for Phil.

James, I owe you a deep and sincere apology. I didn't look it up. I did not realize the true meaning of the word, "poltroon". I am sorry, James. I do look at posts sequentially and know that the posts in question were of 12/17. From where I was sitting there weren't any posts referencing "poltroon" prior to the one Mr. Veerkamp posted asking cookie if poltroon was over the top inappropriate on 12/17, at as you said, 3:24. I am sure of this. Today, I see posts in this thread first dated/timed 12/17, 7:34 a.m. to 12/17, 5:08 pm, then it goes back and forth from 12/17 to 12/18 posts. With these jumps, I am not seeing what you are referencing. Mr. Veerkamp's post of 12/17, 1:32 is here, today, but not the others in question. Apparently one can go back to the prior thread and prior day to see all the posts, and I am not knowing how to do this. Why are there posts showing from a different thread and different day posting today???

This is what you wanted, give up your tri-care for the good of the collective whole.

The next shoe to drop on ocommycare is going to be the insurers. There is a threshold to how much abuse can be dispensed upon them before they react. They have been the target of endless slander and all the typical leftist tactics of demonization before, during and after the illegal passage of this disaster on steroids. They are not like the braindead sycophant leftist lemming base who take getting kicked repeatedly as a sign of affection. It is only a matter of time before they start to speak out about the abuses of power that caused them to go along with this catastrophic government takeover of healthcare. The payoffs and the backroom deals are going to make for some interesting reading.

The poster child for incompetent government blunders, kathleen sebelius has been asked to provide proof that she met with the chief of unaware ignorance one-on-one during the 3 1/2 years leading up to the disastrous crash and burn launch of obamacare. Disastrous and its synonyms are too weak to describe obamacare. I submit obamacare itself as an adjective to characterize an entirely new scale of man-made disasters. It is right on par with the china syndrome.

James, u seem to know the ACA pretty well. Have U actually read the Federal Register cover to cover like garon pretends? I'll spare u, the answer is no. Besides being the most extensive document ever written, it’s the way that it is written. Of all its attributes, the feature that stands out for me is the amazing drug free cure for insomnia that it is. It reads like the best of tedious bureaucratic screeds, but written from the cell of a life sentence. Indeed, we often find the music of bureaucrats a scintillating rhythm of arithmetic with Roman numerals and the Register is designed precisely that way so that average people will not, or can not read it. Therefore it’s the perfect venue for declaring government’s intention as required by law.

Another fine example of the endless dependence created by leftists. When you have people who vote (multiple times) for free stuff (obmaphones) there is no limit to the insanity to protect their right to free stuff. "Georgia alone has nearly 800,000 residents which use the service, but a new policy aimed at cracking down at fraud and wasteful spending forces companies to either increase free airtime to 500 hours or charge subscribers the $5 fee, according to the U.S. News & World Report. But some advocacy groups say the new policy –which would go into effect on Jan. 31 of next year – is an attack on the poor." http://atlanta.cbslocal.com/2013/12/18/consumer-groups-fight-5-obama-phone-fee-in-georgia/#comment-1170175866

And, whatever happened to Rod and the 'black needle' thing? Anyone know what he was talking about. Apparently something that happened at a VA hospital??

Phil, not odd for Mr. Fred, but it would be odd if you had dozed off while watching TV, and your wife woke you up and took you out into the back yard so you could do your business, and then fed you and put you back to bed. Strange for you, standard business for Mr. Fred.

James, Mr. Fred has a wife?

Dee, I would say that Mr. Fred has more of a Mum, not a wife. Mum -- I get that from all the English TV shows I watch on Netflix and Acorn.

James, I know but couldn't help the tease. We too frequently sound as though we have just visited the ancestral lands. Of course I am getting my Brit fix from Amazon Prime now that I no longer view BBC. The selection is much better. Cherrio! Although I haven't heard that recently. We must start watching more drawing room comedies.

George, you really must be a maroon if you do not get the basic principle of shared cost. No, males can not get pregnant, but the idea behind shared cost is that everyone bears the burden of that cost and a few use it, hopefully. Many civilized societies have figured this out. Maybe one day when folks like you die off, the US can join them.

Idiot, if you insist on calling someone a moron, please spell it correctly. Maroon is a color. ------ma·roon [ mə rn ] deep purplish-red color: a deep purplish red color tinged with brown--------Thank you.

Dee, he may have meant maroon as in a member of a group of black people living in the mountains and forests of Suriname and the West Indies descended from escaped slaves. I don't know, maybe?

James, if Idiot is calling Mr. Algiers an ex-slave living in the mountains and forests of Suriname and the West Indies doesn't that make him a racist? However, I doubt that Idiot is aware of either definition of maroon and meant moron. Which makes him an idiot. And yes, I knew both definitions but chose to use the more popular usage in the U.S.

Dee, full disclosure here: Until earlier, I didn't know that maroon was a color or people living in the mountains. However, I do know how to spell moron.

Kurt, thank you - but - Some say that Bugs may have said "poltroon". But that seems to be a sensitive word between James and me.
