Gibberish

EDITOR:

Senator Rand Paul (R-KY), has said in regard to the Supreme Court decision on the Affordable Care Act that “Just because a couple of people on the Supreme Court declare something to be ‘constitutional’ does not make it so.”

I hope the Republican Party takes this argument up for the next five months, as it will obscure the debate on Jobs/unemployment rates. And, by the way, if Senator Paul is correct then we can disregard the Supreme Court decisions on Citizens United, Corporations are People, and the best one of them all — President Gore.

Thank you Senator Paul for your insightful rant to your Tea Party base. I say Tea Party, because 99.9 percent of Republicans know how the Supreme Court works. It only takes a majority, not a 9-0 for the decision to be valid.

Senator Paul, are the grapes so sour that you are speaking gibberish?

  1. James E. says:

ADDED: As I ponder Senator Paul I can only wonder how he was elected to the Senate. Well, I know how he was elected (Tea Party darling), but I still wonder.

  2. Dink Lane says:

He also said the Voting Rights Act was not Constitutional….. The Tea Party group is NOT Conservative…. “Conservative” is to PRESERVE… They want to DESTROY and TAKE AWAY from others ….. so they have more $$$$ in their pocket…. It’s the “all-about-me” Party.

  3. Tom GIbney says:

God Forbid anybody shold dare question the sanctity of the Supreme court or anybody in the Obama administration…Rand Paul and his father make more sense at times than Mitt, Barrack, Pelosi or the majority of the News Media do these days…But thats ok you all go ahead and be good little sheep and go with the flow…

  4. laughing at the right says:

    gibberish defended by gibberish.

  5. Tom Gibney says:

Laughing at the right…still cowering behind a silly name…speaks volumes of who you are and your testicular fortitude. How loud will you bleat when you find you have been fleeced..???

  6. R.J. "Cowboy" Carter says:

Mr. Gibney…Kudos for an excellent response to someone who hides in the shadows and cowards in the dark..(not unlike many other libs)….Plus, I wonder why these lustrous bloggers never write a letter quoting the many verbal mistakes that our vice president makes, or the completely insane rants of Nancy Pelosi?????

  7. James E. says:

R.J., you’re back on line. The rule on comments is: Liberals write comments on Romney, Paul, Ryan, Boehner, Cantor, et al., while conservatives write comments on the President, Vice President, Representative Pelosi, et al. So, you shouldn’t expect liberals to comment on the gaffes of their own, as it violates the rule on comments.

  8. Dink Lane says:

Glad to see you’re back up to speed again Mr. James…

  9. R.J. "Cowboy" Carter says:

James….I don’t know what I was thinking…..Fair, truthful and impartial comments would just bore everyone to death….

  10. James E. says:

    R. J., problem being is the truth is based on fact. Conservatives have their facts and Progressives have their facts. Do you think there is any chance that the facts will become congruent
    – at any time in the future or ever? Would it be a cheap shot for me to end by reminding that Romney’s facts are ever changing? Well, why not, it’s a fact.

  11. R.J. "Cowboy" Carter says:

Yes, J.E…I will concede Romney might have flipped on something along the way…Forgive me, I may not have noticed because I was too busy watching our wonderful leader of the free world, Barry Obama, flip flop on finance reform, the killing of Osama, tax cuts, the conception of life, the Georgia situation, Offshore Drilling, Jerusalem, Welfare Reform, Nuclear Power, Public Financing, the Cuban Embargo, the DC Gun Ban, FISA, Jeremiah Wright, tapping our strategic oil reserves and the increasing threat from Iran……All facts, but who’s noticing, certainly not his lap-dogs running MSNBC….P.S. ..J.E…Hope you you had a good 4th, didn’t follow your doctor advise too much, and got to party it up a little…

  12. Rolo Tomassi says:

RJ nice try with the revisionist history but Obama never flipped on killing bin Laudin. Ever! He said, in 2008, as president he would hunt down and kill bin Laudin and that’s what he did. And no he didn’t ride in on a helicopter himself. But unlike W Bush who screamed in to a bull horn at ground zero dead or alive and they tail hook landed on an aircraft carrier and spoke under a banner saying “Mission Accomplished” and then admitted that “I don’t think to much about bin Laudin”, Obama did what he said he was going to do.

  13. James E. Longhofer says:

R.J., good response. But, I’m not sure all of those you indicate are facts (as example, he didn’t want to kill Osama, but then switched to killing him?). Nevertheless, good response to including having a bit of fun while we still have time. Although at my age, good fun is waking up in the morning.
