Good luck, Dr. Lehrman

EDITOR:

He is one of a kind and there will never be another. The mold has been broken, never to be replaced because frankly, he is irreplaceable.

Long before he became a member of Marshall Medical Physician Clinic, he had a very successful private practice. Imagine our families great fortune over 27 years ago when Jonathan Lehrman, M.D. had openings for new patients in his practice, we signed up immediately. We have been under his care for so long that it is hard to imagine life without Lehrman. He has been the most compassionate, caring, loving doctor and friend. Through the years, he leant his ear too many times to count and listened patiently as we heeded his advice. Whether we were at the office for mishaps, ailments or life’s ups and downs, we were never judged. Upon leaving his office we felt a little better because we were able to see his smile, know that he cared and find some relief. The relationship as well as trust we shared is rare.

His medical expertise, professionalism and kindness go well beyond the four walls of his office. Outside his duties as a physician, Doctor Lehrman has been a constant face in the community; volunteering for numerous organizations; donating his time to coaching sports; sitting on committees; educating people; performing high school physicals or cheering us on as a spectator — he has been there for us. The list goes on and on.

As he was so generously taking care of us, he managed to raise a wonderful family with his wife, Penny.

We will forever miss you. From the bottom of our hearts, there are not enough words to express our gratitude, but as you start this new chapter in your life, may you find all the happiness and health that you so deserve. We will look for you out living your life, surrounded by those that you love. Happy trails to you …

I'd love a bit more information about this. Dr. Lehrman is our family Dr, and this is the first I've heard about him leaving his practice.
