The universal laws of ‘supply and demand’ have brought gold to an all time high, in the fluctuating neighborhood of $1500 to $1800 per troy ounce. These are unheard of numbers and represent a substantial boom for our depressed economy! With abundant California ambient placer gold (no mining)… and the climbing prices, CA has the potential for another unmistakable GOLD RUSH. CADFW (CDFG) has dragged its feet in every possible way, invoking the ESA (Yellow legged frogs) to mercury re-contamination. It doesn’t matter how many EIRs justify small scale dredging as in Oregon, CA will not relinquish control of gold recovery because the federal plan is for them to keep a valuable resource, GOLD. In alignment with the liberal Agenda 21 think, CADFW has effectively suspended the lawful Mining ACT of 1872 thereby directly revoking our rights to ‘Life Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness’. Many people in CA have lost their inherited claims or their expenditure of money and hard work to obtain and prosper from them. We have lost more and more of our LIBERTY and PROPERTY every time our government wishes it. If anybody doubts that we are not living NOW under tyranny… just open your eyes and look at the facts.

You can thank these groups for trying to Close of the majority of forrest roads and trails in the El Dorado Forest. Those of us that utilize thes trails and The Rubicon Trail are familiar with the tactics of these groups and the manipulation of the USFS via so many frivolous lawsuits. Funny they even use Govt. OIL AND GAS:

Production on federal tracts fell in 2011

Domestic oil production may be at an all-time high nationwide, but the increase is primarily occurring on state and private lands rather than on federal land and waters, where production appears to have dropped significantly in 2011, according to the most recent government data.

Production of natural gas on public lands and waters in fiscal 2011 dropped 11 percent from the previous year, according to Interior Department data. Oil production dipped nearly 14 percent.

The reduction in oil production was most significant in the Gulf of Mexico, where it declined nearly 17 percent to 514 million barrels from 618 million barrels in 2010.

Edward Markey to Howard Gruenspecht, Acting Administrator of the Energy Information Administration.

Representative Edward Markey (D-Mass.) recently sent a letter to the Energy Information Administration (EIA) requesting the agency fix a problem with oil and gas production data on federal lands it reports in the Annual Energy Review (AER). Markey’s interest in writing to EIA was to indicate that the production volumes reported on federal lands by EIA were low, and to point out that production rose in fiscal year 2010, rather than declined as the EIA data showed and as the Institute for Energy Research (IER)[ii]"--http://www.instituteforenergyresearch.org/2012/02/23/ier-analysis-oil-and-gas-production-declines-on-federal-lands-in-fy2011/-------------As usual, government trying to take credit for private enterprise success.

Good Morning Phil-I never thought of that. Yes, you are correct Maher complaining about taxes is a sure harbringer of apocalypse. My savings are too small to need stashing overseas, however having read where the administration is looking at the 401Ks makes me uncomfortable. The plan is for the government to take control of them and replace the private investments with, wait for it, Treasury Bonds, because we are too dumb to manage our own savings.Let us hope that that plan does not go forward.

Even the liberal rats are bailing from CA-Bill Maher's comments on a panel with Rachel Maddow--------""Well," Maher unsuccessfully tried to interrupt as Maddow continued. When she was finally done, he surprisingly pushed back.

Pointing at Virginia's former Republican Congressman Tom Davis, Maher said, "You know what? Rich people - I'm sure you'd agree with this - actually do pay the freight in this country."

"I just saw these statistics," he continued, "I mean, something like 70 percent. And here in California, I just want to say liberals - you could actually lose me. It's outrageous what we're paying - over 50 percent. I'm willing to pay my share, but yeah, it's ridiculous."-----------

CBD is not the only government agency trying to put us out of work. In California we have the California Air Resources Board CARB, which is led not by a scientist, but by a woman who has an undergraduate Degree in Russian Literature and a Law Degree. CARB is one of the most Anti-Business Government Agencies in California. SWRCB is running a close second.
