Since it is a drought, my family and I want to decrease our water consumption. This is what we do: We bring a bucket into the shower to collect grey water. We use this collected water for irrigation and flushing toilets. If you have lots of force while you are pouring water into the toilet bowl you can flush the toilet without using water from the toilet tank.
In one week my family of four reclaimed 62 gallons of grey water by simply bringing a bucket into the shower. Give this a try so you can decrease your water consumption.
