I hear the booms, too

EDITOR: I too have heard and felt the booming sounds. I live off Pleasant Valley Road, off Leisure Lane. I have heard these sounds since April. I moved here in November. I work outside a lot, so I feel these explosions coming from deep underground. My dog whines and runs up to me when they start, usually from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. I have not heard them on weekends. If I am in the house, it vibrates my deck and rattles my windows. I actually see impact tremors in my dog’s water bowl. They are obviously man-made.

I have questioned neighbors who are longtime residents. I have called the Mountain Democrat and spoke to several staff members. Everyone I speak to has a different explanation. One neighbor said its been happening for years and was probably thunderstorms from the Tahoe area, one person said it was BLM clearing forrests another said it was Snows Road Quarry. I have called Snows Quarry, and they said that people will pull up and ask about the explosions, and they are going off way toward the east while he is speaking, so it is obvious it is not his quarry. These explosions usually come as two blasts, less than a second apart, then seconds of rumbling, and feels and sounds deep underground and miles to the east.

BLM states they are not blasting anything. I will keep asking questions until I get a real answer. The last suspect, of course, is our government. Who else would have the money and the time to be blasting? The real question is, “Why are they blasting?” If it’s not fracking, then they are creating “secret” underground roadways or facilities … with our tax money I might add.

JEANIE HENDRICKSON

Editor’s note – Fracking? We are not aware of any oil or natural gas reserves in El Dorado County.

Jeanie, these "explosions" have been going on since the 1960s.

Actually, it' is related to a huge expansion of the Area 51 Master Planned Multi-Use Residential, Commercial and Entertainment venue now known by the marketing materials as 'Agenda 51'. The materials detail their new slogan 'Agenda 51...Summit to It!' so as to more closely identify with it's proximity to our beloved Sierra Mountain Range. The blastting you hear is part of the Phase 1 effort to improve the view from the exciting new shopping destination experience that is the 'Mall of Sustainable Shopping' featurin anchor tenants 'Forever Agenda 21', 'Costco Coffin Factory Store', 'Lowes Home Removement', 'Chik-kil-USA', 'Illuminatti Lighting Solutions', 'Urban Infitters' and MORE! (Be sure to check in daily for the delicious free sweet corn served; it's captivating!) Once those view blocking mountains are removed and a couple of imminent domains complete their final solutions processing, Phase II can begin with the construction of 12212012 affordable housing units within the gated communities of 'Nebiru', 'Nebiru Heights'  and the ultra exclusive 'Del Boca Nebiru at Vista'. In celebration, the upcoming Photon Ball had been planned to ensure every El Dorado County resident gets to 'Summit to It!' and tours these truly remarkable facilities. In fact, you'll LOVE it so much you might never leave!

Morris, your research is sloppy. Not once did you mention HAARP, Bilderberg, CFR, Bohemian Grove, Zionists, or the EDC good old boy network. "F"for u.

This seems to be a legitimate question. I have noticed quite a few letters questioning these booms with no one having an answer. It should be easy to answer otherwise it seems something is being hidden.

These booms are the results of blasting granite rocks over near Red Lake on Hwy. 88- part of a highway project...

If it's that loud and causes a vibration, and seems to be man-made, why not contact the county - maybe code enforcement, and ask them to investigate. There are ordinances regulating noise and vibration.

Morris: You seem very well informed on this BOOM stuff. Can you confirm a rumor I heard at a TP meeting that George Soros and the Mexican drug cartel are partnering to finance the entire project and that much of the housing is destined to house Mexicans. Again, just a rumor, but this is allegedly part of a grand liberal plot to have Mexico reclaim California by swamping us with illegal voters.

Unsure as to the specifics of any finance concessions being provided by a cartel; their numbers such a small percentage of the country and overall population base. Perhaps Mr. Harm might fields your question from the grandstand. As for any future residential demographics, I suppose it would be awful to see an invasion of such a family-focused and religiously devout people working hard to provide a better life of modest proportions for their children. Because it's OK for you people to build the Mall of Sustainable Shopping but we'd rather wish you not to shop here or clutter our street corners with the pleading look of a Man Depended Upon and without work. Everyone knows this years look is rocking the whole Beached White Male. See 'cause now that it's us it matters.

Excluding our Native American friends (and daggum if we ain't good at that) and neighbors, I'm thinking we're all illegals. Man, I'm putting some money on U-Haul stock because once we succeed in denying educational opportunities, food, medical care and assorted other Basics of Christian Care and remove citizenship from those born here, things they will get interesting. Roll 'em back....back...ok a little more....until the Mayflower floats backwards. Now fire up the flux capacitor and go back in time a few hundred years or so to early California. There. You have arrived. The first illegal alien in California. You brought your own leaf blower right Joe? Goodnight Greenwood! Thanks...you guys have been great!

Morris gives good advice. I'm buying 'Ameros', the currency that will replace the dollar when the the liberal one-worlders (led by George Soros, of course) take over. And I'm also buying toll tickets for the secret highways that the Mexicans, Canadians and Obama are building west of the Mississippi. Get'em now while they're cheap!!! These highways will not be controlled by individual states but by a Mexican-Canadian police force that will be housed in special barracks being built along those secret highways. Remember: you heard it here first, compliment of the Tea Party.

I used to whistle while working, but now I'm retired and the "thumping/exploding/booming" phenomenon continues to be experienced from time to time. I've never hummed while working. However this subject does seem to resonate.
