Greenwood BillSeptember 17, 2012 - 4:07 pm
Waste of paper. the folks that open the mail don't care and anyway are under instructions to discard anything not a payment. If I were one of them, I would toss your payment just to give you grief so why risk it. It accomplishes nothing.

I strongly disagree with Bill Greenwood. People need to stand up for themselves otherwise these "fees" will continue. Here is a website I found that might help those wanting to file protests. FireTaxProtest.org There are downloadable forms with addresses of where to send the protest forms.

I didn't write a letter but I did send in the paperwork to protest this fee that is really a tax.
