In support of Richard Barb

By
November 02, 2012 |

EDITOR:

Richard Barb is resolute in his endeavors to support individuals, families and small businesses in our over-regulated county. His selfless openess in listening to all political points of view and winning solutions to seriously constricting hurdles to healthy, prosperous achievement for our populace springs from his experience as a successful, lifelong businessman. As an example of his past expertise he’s dealt with tire restrictions involved in the freight industry, wholesale distribution and hazardous material cleanup as well as being a current officer with the Civil Air Patrol/US Airforce Auxiliary.

Richard has demonstrated tireless industry and frugality and displays common sense and an appreciation of cause and effect, ie. ever higher fees and taxes equals less building/business in El Dorado County.

To quote Thomas Jefferson (in his 1801 Inaugural Address), “With all these blessings, what is more necessary to make us a happy and prosperous people? … a wise and frugal government, which shall restrain men from injuring one another, shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has eamed..”

“Knowing the system” and “having experience” doesn’t necessarily equate to profitable governance or a people free from intrusive rules and regulations. It should be intuitively obvious that we need to support a candidate whose philosophy is to reduce the burdensome restrictions/fees/taxes on us and return to a conservative, common sense approach to government for all individuals. If you believe in less bureaucratic intrusion. If you believe in seeking lower fees and taxes. If you believe in moving away from political experience and moving toward successful private business experience, then we strongly urge you to vote for Richard Barb for District 3 Supervisor.
