Iran October suprise?

EDITOR: With the Failure In Chief President Obama not wanting to look like Jimmy Carter did in 1980 just before getting his clock cleaned by Ronald Reagan you can probably bet good money on us hitting Iran before the election.

After Ronmey’s visit to Israel and the British and French basically dragging him into Libya he is going to feel the need to look like a leader. If we are going to do this, hopefully, it will be planned by somebody concerned about a lot more then just their self-image.

"What would George W. Bush do.” Remember him Alger, he’s another one you supported, that one cost our country $3.2-4 trillion, destroyed our international credibility, ruined the lives of thousands of young Americans, made several of the right people millions and it may damn well turn out to be our Berlin Wall............................. I dont think there will be any Iran surprise....

Israel with let Iran spend resources and when they do hit their facilities they won't ask for permission

Right on, Mr Noll - Israel doesn't ask permission. Remember the 1967 USS Liberty "incident"? 200 of our sailors were wounded or killed. Slaughter at sea, and still Israel gets huge chunks of taxpayer money annually. What's up with that?

Mr. no surprises, did Iran ask the UN if they could start building nuclear weapons? Did Israel ask us or the UN if they could take out the underground reactor at Osirisk, Syria? Does Israel need to ask us if they should retaliate against the Palestinian leadership for rockets fired at random against innocent men, women and children? Let Israel defend itself as it needs. Or even ask to buid new neighborhoods for its citizens which include Arabs.

Don't want to get bogged down in details RonRingler, but Osirisk was Iraq. Now, back to Israel and our sailors on the U.S.S. Liberty . . . What was Israel "defending"?

After being rejected by my own country after the Vietnam War, Israel welcomed me with open arms, what I learned from my time there is that Israel is a driven and determined country and will remain with or without US support. Israel seems to be doing just fine on its on, your reasoning is screwed up Mr. Alger, I guess your just repeating what your favorite right wing talk show host had to say last week. A little history lesson on Israel and war in the middle east; War flares in the middle east 1948, war flares in the middle east 1956, war flares in the middle east 1956, 1948, 1956, 1967, 1969, 1973, 1978, 1982, 1987, 1993, 2006, 2008.
