It’s back

EDITOR:

I see the pretty pink billboard has resurfaced, this time closer to town, and with some modifications. The advertisement still omits the key word, as before, and the young “ladies” have been removed from it. Wasn’t it Sarah Palin who once said, “You can put lipstick on a pig, but it still is a pig?”

All I can say is that we did not tolerate it in Camino. I'm still wondering how is it legal to have an offsite billboard advertising a brothel in California when it's illegal in Nevada?

Because sign ordinances are coming up for final voting. This is done on purpose...and Im sorry people will fall for this. Our next meeting will have sign ordinances slipped in--although I felt learning about the zoning was taxing enough. This board will direct questions away from the primary part of the meeting to talk about this sign. Maybe I should do a presentation on Hitlers thoughts on signage, art ,and the burning of books. If the sign is stopping or interfering with traffic--it can be taken down. CEDAC wants many things "banned"...Harper would like to control the moral and ethic health of our community. I have lived here a very long time...am I the only one who can see it what what it is? Someone is playing people for final votes.

In the State of NV, it is not illegal for Adult entertaining you go to the Sheriff's DPT in NV and apply for an adult entertainment Lic, 350.00, also you can apply for a concealed weapon Lic. If it was illegal Sue they would not be running. And for the signs, don't look, there only signs, This town is full of its own illegal CRAP . Oh and I was raised in Cedar Grove, went to all the Pollock Pines schools so I know a lot of crap that they did put up with worst then a frikkin sign.

All I saw was a sign for a cigar bar, what are you guys talking about? Unless you were a regular viewer of his businesses reality show on cable tv how would a person think it was anything else? Personally I hate billboards and think they all should be removed from highway right of ways.
