I don’t have a problem with John Kerry, he gave good service to his country, his crew really liked him and that’s a plus. What the bush team used against him was something that just about every young officer does, and that’s to,earn the juror office package of medals. I can’t imagine Mr. Mahalich was any different.

Mr.Mahalich, Longhofer is correct that only the Senate has advise and consent. I would advise you contact Senators Feinstein and Boxer, but both have made it clear that they take no direction from their constituents. The Vietnam Vets in my family are not happy with Kerry either but realize they just have live with it.

Mr. Mahalich, I’m a Vietnam vet and I think John Kerry will be an excellent SecState. Perhaps McClintock can join the Swift Boaters and do something about it. Wait, don’t think McClintock was ever in the Navy so not qualified — plus he doesn’t get a vote on Kerry, so not sure why you are asking him for help? You do know, don’t you, that only Senators get to vote on this?
