Lessons learned at GDPUD

EDITOR:

After attending the GDPUD meeting this month, I was amazed at the ridiculous comments that came out of the General Manager’s mouth. When questioned why the fire hydrant on Highway 193 and Bear Creek was not fixed yet, apparently we all learned that the fire department does not fight fires from fire hydrants. When questioned on a statement that the GM placed in the paper over his previous employment, apparently it is harassment to question the GM and he does not need to answer.

The GM apparently can speak for the State Health Department regarding approval of plans for the District even if the State didn’t make the same comments and it ends up costing the District millions. The sad thing is that he is paid $150,000 per year and the Board gives him satisfactory reviews and merit raises. Well it is only our money.

Don't worry Bill..... Norm Krizl and Bonnie Neeley will authorize ANOTHER raise.... Ray Griffths will go along (he just wants his $400 a month stipend) and they will tell Kathy Otermat and Bonnie McLane "You aren't allowed to object." (They are not allowed to submit any documents that say Hank has problems...Remember...NOTHING IS WRITTEN DOWN for GM's evaluation...Only Verbal!)

So now the question is, how did Hank gain such a hold over Krizl, Neeley and Griffiths? Krizl wants to look good so he has to back Hank up, Neeley, a woman in her seventies (much like Joanne Sheppard) must have fallen under his spell, and Griffiths..you got it Dink, he just wants his $400.00. How about the gripping President's report on nuts! The irony is simply too delicious.

Zack, you forgot how did Dawn Hudson and Mike Raffety become so enamored with White? Title of Dawn's Piece "Otermat Attacks GM!" should have been "Otermat Speaks for Her Constituents". There was no attacking unless the definition of attacking has changed to asking for clarification on conflicting answers. Wish we could vote out Hudson and Raffety and get a writer and editor who actually practiced fair journalism. Richard Esposito, no wonder Mountain Democrat sales are falling, take care of business, fire these two.

Robert you're right that the piece should have been "Otermat Speaks for Her Constituents". Pleemier and Bliss accuse Kathy of not being a team player. Damn fine she's not. The old GDPUD recall team is into a new season using the same crooked umpire. Raffety and Hudson are mouthpieces. Someone needs to tell the truth & protect us from "the team". Go Kathy!!!
