Let’s not rush to judgement

EDITOR:

In the wake of the horrific incident that occurred during the Boston Marathon, I would like to ask El Dorado County to take a breath regarding the circumstantial evidence that is demonizing the two young men blamed for the explosions.

First, our president and his Attorney General have made it clear that enemy combatants have a right to a civilian trial. After all, in America we are all presumed innocent until proven guilty.

But therein lies my confusion. President Obama has already called this incident, “an act of terror.” My question is why? How was the President so sure it was a terrorist act when the perpetrators weren’t even captured and killed yet? What is the difference between the Boston Marathon “situation” and the Libya Embassy “situation?”

After all, how do we know that these young boys were not set off by the Anti-Muslim hating Sam Breile video? That, per everyone in Obama’s administration, caused the people of Muslim faith in places like Egypt and Tunisia to protest and attack our embassies? All the while giving the good people of Libya no choice but to naturally act out their frustration by murdering our ambassador, some of his staff and a couple of ex-Navy Seals who disobeyed orders and intervened during the protest, saving the rest of the staff from their inevitable outcome.

How do we know that the brothers were not understandably just as angry by that video? Obviously that video was horrific and insulting because Sam Breile is still in jail.

Following the Obama Administration logic from past situations, we might want to wait and hear the surviving brother’s reasons for exploding the pressure cookers. It seems to me that the precedent is already set on how to respond by this administration.

Barak Hussein Obama is nothing other than a Muslim at heart. The Tsarnaeva brothers viciously murdered and maimed innocent Americans. I'm sick of the news and radio referring to them as kids. Obama's decision to Mirandize the younger of the two is transparent. The asOhole is now lawyered up and we will probably never be able to connect the dots. In 09 when Major Muslim Nidal Hasan murdered 13 and wounded 30, Obama called it "workplace violence". Now another incident with these murders and maimings at a marathon. Just another little incident. These scumbag Muslim brothers were receiving taxpayer welfare benefits, were able to afford to go to college, were able to afford to fly away on extended vacations to other countries and the US taxpayer paid for their bomb making materials and allowed them to live high on the USA hog. It does not send a very good message to other radical muslims that will continue to do these types of things. It's really looking like our goose is cooked in this country!

So, Mr. Steers, are you saying it might be ok to blow up pressure cookers and injure people if the reason is valid?

Nancy, I think that we have to take a look at our society and try to understand why we made those poor children feel they had no other venue to express their anger. Or licence pressure cookers. Possibly ban them from sporting events. But I'll wait to hear from our Leader President Obama. His answer to your question will be the only valid one.

White hat is a US citizen and therefore entitled to every protection of our Constitution. Anyother interpretation of his rights is a slippery slope for all citizens period. however Islamists are a menace to the world and for our INS to grant citizenship williy nilly needs absolute scrutiny. The fact most bombers and 911 muslims have been determined to be very bright... is the scariest part... they are outsmarting us. A moderate muslim is simply shirking their responsibilty in the eyes of their fellows.

Ken, for some of us watching all of this is has been painful and difficult. For others it looks like stellar leadership. Take Robert Obtuse and Duhrrin for example. They are on the internet so you would assume they have access to the same trillions of bits of information you and I have yet they remain totally blind and inexcusably ignorant. They are like a radio that only gets one station. Either they cannot read or the choose not to. Their thoughts of the day will come from what ever the cut and paste leftist talking points are. The scary part is there are millions of them. They are an example of how freedom and liberty are wasted on so many in this country.

White hats older brother was NOT a US citizen and became the seed of evil for his younger westernized brother. Their mother took advantage of every kindness of our society and still chose to be a thief... and now a liar as well. This should tell you everything you need to know. People form their morality in the first six years of life, its a roll of the dice after that.

Tuesday morning, a peculiar announcement trickled out of the White House press office: President Barack Obama would be holding a moment of silence for the victims of the Boston bombings. At the White House. By himself. No press or other intruders allowed. Except the White House photographer. National tragedy is just a photo-op.

Leftism deports a family from Germany trying to homeschool their kids and gives welfare, scholarships, cars, housing and phones to jihadists. The taxpayers probably bought the supplies needed to make the bombs.

not sure why there is even any debate about having a jury trial. and I certainly do not know why Mr. Smith feels the need to refer to the President as a "Muslim at heart". Real patriots believe in the US Constitution. Article 3 section 2 The Trial of all Crimes, except in Cases of Impeachment, shall be by Jury; and such Trial shall be held in the State where the said Crimes shall have been committed; but when not committed within any State, the Trial shall be at such Place or Places as the Congress may by Law have directed. As far as being "Muslim at heart", even if it were true, Article 6 says ""but no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States."" I would suggest that everyone base their opinions about government policy on the United States Constitution, not the rantings of your preferred radio entertainer whose income and ratings depend on an angry, misinformed audience, instead of the truth.

DB Smith you are certainly entitled to your opinion. I am entitled to point out that your opinion is contrary to both the letter and the spirit of the United States Constitution.

Oh what the heck, why don't we just refer to the Traitor in Chief as an 'Enemy Combatant' He obviously (even supposedly being a lawyer) cares little about the Constitution. This miscreant that some of you voted for pretty much thinks he lives in Versailles! So let me finish with; PHQ OBAMA

Tom Gibney, Unless you are clairvoyant and blessed with psychic abilities, you have no idea what President Obama thinks. It is illustrative that the critics of the President so frequently resort to their own jaundiced rendition of what the President "thinks" since his actual words do not support their opinions. This President has behaved no differently than any of his predecessors. Certainly no different than the miscreant who took us into a pointless costly deadly war for weapons that did not exist, or the smiling miscreant who lost 200 US Marines in Lebanon and did absolutely nothing about it. It is also telling that 99 times out of 100, people who claim that the President cares little about the Constitution, fail to cite specifically the article, amendment or section being violated and how his actions differ from those of his predecessors. I along with millions of other working, taxpaying, home-owning, gun-owning Americans voted for the President in 2008 and in 2012, because we thought he was the man for the job not because we want "free stuff". I have no regrets about my vote and am certainly glad we do not have a President Romney falsely taking credit for the economic recovery we are now experiencing. I try to adhere to a policy where I give opposing viewpoints the same degree of respect that I receive. For those of you who can respect my opinions even if you disagree, then fine let us agree to disagree. For those of you who insist that people like me are ill informed or ignorant or welfare parasites etc. etc.. well I can only say PHQ U.

(lets not use the term Islam or Illegal immigrants. As well as no protesting in front of the almighty O) I would be the first to tell you that GW Bush was not perfect. and I voted for him as the 'lesser of evils'. We aren't given much of a pool to pick from and all the decent candidates are trashed by the media (Useful idiots of the Liberal cause) So, if you cannot see the idiocracy and usurping of your nation that is happening in front of you then I will leave you to eat your paint chips and smear your diaper bits on the wall. You're just another useful idiot.
