The problem with turning our backs on the Middle East is that if we don’t stay involved we will be buying our oil though China at a premium when we most need.
Here is an example of how our very own Congressional leader feels about being energy efficient; On June 20, the Mountain Democrat reported “McClintock disses solar power.” McClintock’s positions against solar, wind and other forms of alternative energy are well known. McClintock does not hide the fact that he is in Congress to defend the interests of the coal, gas and oil industries and he has the campaign contributions to prove it.”

I learned to not trust politicians and the media when they told me hiding under a desk would save me from a nulear blast. But I also realize that the history of the world is earmarked by characters who’s single abition was to rule the world. Those people still exist and to not take them seriously is a mistake. We have an answer to the middle east but the anti-energy leftists in this county have prevented us from becoming energy independent. As far as I am concerned the entire middle east is not worth one drop of American blood. Export capitalism and places like Cuba will fix themselves.
