EDITOR:

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Western Slope physical therapy department for being a great cheerleader as they attempted to get my Mom back on her feet after her fall. Also I would like to recognize Snowline Hospice for coming to our rescue when Mom was moved to Sunshine Manor, an incredibly wonderful board and care home in Placerville. Mom received tender loving care from a great staff at Sunshine Manor, who I believe are all really angels in disguise. Thank you to Nancy Castaway, the owner; Holly, Ofelia, Pam, Emily, Jamie, Matracia, Debi and Nanette who allowed my mother to pass into the next life with dignity and loving kindness. You are the best.
