Years ago, I remember hearing about the two major new agencies of the Soviet Union – TASS and Pravda, Our media at the time used to practically giggle when they reported anything that came from those agencies, knowing as they did that there wasn;t a shred of independent journalism within. It was all Soviet propaganda. These days, our American alphabet news sources (ABC NBC CBS CNN NPR PBS) could school TASS and Pravda into shame. The fact many people in our county, including the Sheriff actually believe in an invisible army over the horizon waiting to impose tyranny, that our nation’s problem with violent crime is not an issue of firearms but entirely an issue of mental health and that somebody wants to kick your door down and take your guns away, is confusing unless you good the NRA web site where its all explained.

As for any events where a shooter is subdued by a Gun owner? That won;t get coverage either. Incidents of Crime stopped by gun owners is common actually , but no liberals want to acknowledge that.

No where was I as afraid as any and every U.S. city that I visit, NYC, SF, LA, Puerto Rico, Miami, Chicago… the list goes on.Your gun makes you feel safe, I get it. The thing is, if no one was walking around with one you would. Nor would you feel like you need one. Watch all that crud on TV and you will know the fear. Turn it off, think for yourself, get educated. Travel a bit if you haven’t or travel more if you have. It sounds like you need to get out more. You Sir, are part of the fear-mongering problem.
