  Rarely do I endorse candidates unless I personally know of their intent for that position. On that note I fully support Chuck Wolfe for the Mother Lode Unified School District (MLUSD). I have worked with Chuck and he is truly a person of integrity. I know he will work hard to protect the funds required for quality education for the children of the MLUSD. He has spent years working in the service of others. He has a deep understanding of the issues facing our schools and the MLUSD and families of the district would be fortunate to have a person like Chuck serving them on the School Board.   We parents have few greater concerns than the quality of education for our children. We need to feel confident the governing bodies of our schools rest on foundations of keen intellect and solid character. Chuck Wolfe is such a person. Chuck has a Bachelors of Science Degree in Human Services. Over the years he has volunteered at New Morning Youth and Family Services run-away shelter, counseling at risk teens, Wee Care working with new families of vulnerable children, Progress House counseling chemically dependent young men with associated issues of anger and violence, The El Dorado Women’s Center where he volunteered for many years before becoming a full-time staff member, and The El Dorado County Office of Public Guardian, where he worked with adults transitioning to changing living environments. As the sole proprietor of a construction company specializing in remodel, renovation and restoration he understands “the bottom line.” I believe that this combination of business and social experience makes Chuck the most qualified candidate for the Mother Lode Union School District Board of Trustees.
