Mother Lode candidates

By From page A5 | October 31, 2012

EDITOR:

Some fine candidates remain for Mother Lode Union School District Board since Richard Boylan has dropped out of the race. In this race voters are asked to vote for no more than two candidates running for the Full Term, or four-year, position on the board and no more than two candidates running for the Short Term, or two-year, position.

In the race for the “Short Term” position my favorite candidate is Joe Fisher. The others seeking one of these two available positions are: Janet VanderLinden, Aaron Huckeba and Chuck Wolfe.

Do your own vetting on this one, as I did … but seriously consider a vote for Joe Fisher. Joe is a thoughtful and bright man who will employ due diligence while addressing his duties on the board.

That’s a change we can live with.

A concerned grandparent and voter,

P. STEPHEN RABITZ
Placerville
