Evelyn, sorry, I didn’t realize it was so recent. By it being expunged, I thought it was 10 years ago or so. One has to have time to be a good boy before a conviction is expunged.
Yes, much of the criminal justice system is perverted by having friends in high places. Spending those blue chips can often get you a get of jail card. I’m surprised the president would get involved and get tainted as a result.
After all, it was only a misdemeanor. And friends in high places usually only get involved when it’s a felony.

On 4/6/11 Hawaii News Now reported, PRESIDENT OBAMA’S CLOSE FRIEND ARRESTED DURING PROSTITUTION STING: Police say the suspect showed up at the intersection of South Street and Pohukaina Street Monday night to meet an escort from an online service. Titcomb allegedly offered to pay the escort, who was actually an undercover officer, $100 for sex. It’s what police call a “reverse sting” — an operation designed to net Johns instead of prostitutes. “Prostitutes obviously are committing crimes, but some of them are victims as well,” Lavoie said. “So we want to stop the Johns from giving them business.” ********** Interesting that the charge was expunged from Titcomb’s record. Do you suppose it pays to have friends in high places? Yes, the “honored” this and that’s for whom the rules/laws differ is TNTC and is no respecter of party — or other — affiliation.

Evelyn, thank you. I also found it on the Drudge Report. I thought the cops had raided the golf course. Turns out to be an old charge by a childhood friend who plead no contest and the conviction was later expunged from his record. As for solicitation, reminds me that we have a Senator who did more than solicit and he remains an “honored” Senator.

Absolutely Verne! I’ve never seen such piss poor winners in my life. They don’t even know how to win gracefully. It doesn’t matter if they win or lose they will still Groan because they will never have enough of other peoples money or things to give away.
