I subscribe to the Mountain Democrat because I want to know what is going on in the county I live in.
I do know the political leanings of the county and the Mountain Democrat. This is very obvious, especially in the political cartoons.
Therefore it was refreshing to read the “My Turn” column by the Beutlers. As a retied RN I have seen the need for health care reform. The affordable care act is a good step in that direction.

Yes it was surprising to see a “Non-Tea-Party” story in the “My Turn”….in PRINT….but NOT on the website!….. That’s strange…. but then maybe not when I consider how this paper does things….
There’s a few non tea baggers out here! The majority of working MD’s and RN’s feel the same as Beth!
