Myth Romney: Fact or fiction?

As the Republican Party has stated, facts will not dictate this election, if you accept the fact that Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell stated in the National Journal on Nov. 4, 2010, “The single most important thing we want to achieve is for President Obama to be a one-term president.”

Again Senator McConnell repeated this statement to MSNBC host Joe Scarborough who was floored by McConnell’s open admission that his single most important goal is to defeat Obama. This is the state of our government and shows that Myth Romney and the Republican Party are out of touch with the American people. When the top priority of either party is to defeat the other at the expense of the American people and the success of our great country, then this is nothing less than treason.

Myth Romney is asking the question are we better off now than four years ago? As a matter of fact (there is that nasty word again), I am better off. If Myth Romney would release his tax returns for the prior four years, I believe it would show he is much better off. President Obama is fighting a constant battle for better employment by investing in our future and we should remember that lessons learned from the past dictate our future. The lesson we should remember is we are all in this together.

One nation, and together secure our future.

Mr. Brown, it does little good to appeal to the Tea/Republican Party of NO (whose only interest is to deny President Obama a second term). Party of NO first, jobs somewhere way down the line. And, I mean jobs WAY down the line to nonexistent.

Mr Brown, I can't find a quote regarding your statements about facts will not dictate this election by the Republican Party. I do see how you copied ABC's archtical using the name Myth Romney. Mr Brown are you better off? Good for you. Are the 49 million people on food stamps better off? Are the 29 million people looking for work better off? We are indeed in the same boat together. Are you willing to grab a paddle?

Mr. Brown is correct, Mr. Steers is wrong. So what's new? But I digress. After they pointed out the numerous lies, false assumptions and self-contradictory statements in Ryan's and Romney's acceptance speeches, reporters were told by Romney's Director of Communications: "We are not going to let fact checks dictate our campaign". Even a FOX commentator was shown moaning that Ryan's speech was the most mendacious he'd ever heard. As a result of this fiasco, the Romney campaign, and FOX, of course, have set up a parallel universe of 'fact check web sites' to counter the Washington Post, the Univ. of Pa, the Pew Research Center, and other reliable fact checkers. This way, Ken Steers will be able to say that he 'fact checked' a blatant lie but found it to be true: This Romney or FOX web site said so! Goebbels is alive and well.

Gosh that just wasted 37 seconds of my life reading Garon's diatribe. I take it you can't show where the Republican Party made such a statement. So moving forward then.

President Obama is better off too. His wealth has grown tremendously as president and will continue to do so whether he remains in the WH or not. Democrats tolerate their rich. It is rich Republicans that Democrats adamantly object too. Most people that I know are not better off. I can't think of one friend or relative who is better off today than 4 years ago. Most of the men that I know in these households are either unemployed or under employed. None of them including me are traveling, making major purchases, or taking on any kind of long term debt. This won't change until there are major improvements in the American economy.

You can pull the covers over your head and pretend that our president knows what he is doing or you can put the facts out there, our diplomats are being killed off, our embassies are under siege and our president is campaigning for more of the same. He has failed miserably in the foreign diplomacy department, but his golf score is up. No budget, but his golf score is up; no jobs and we are out of money. How could a person look at the score and feel that he would do better the second time around is beyond me. His life as a senator was nothing more than show; he did nothing to better Illinois; which has an economy that is in the dumps. His command of words is wonderful as long as you have a teleprompter at his disposal. The people that have a job won’t have one if you leave the fox in the hen house any longer, the only thing that will be left is parts and pieces of our constitution.

Mr. Shumann, what was the President's golf score four years ago and what is it today? You don't have any idea, do you? Just repeating Rush. As for our Embassies being under siege, my memory is that 10 of them were attacked during Bush's eight years. I hope you will be able to handle another four years of the President destroying the Constitution.

Obama said. “But let us never forget that for every angry mob, there are millions who yearn for the freedom and dignity and hope that our flag represents.” Obama said. "There are a lot of people in the world to whom the American flag is a symbol of oppression. And the anthem itself conveys a war-like message. You know, the bombs bursting in air and all. It should be swapped for something less parochial and less bellicose. I like the song 'I'd Like to Teach the World to sing.' If that were our anthem, then I might salute it." I really don’t think that it matters about the flag or the national anthem, there are many people out there that don’t like us, but if we don’t show our power they will be over here not liking us and that won’t be good.

Ken Steers: A top television advertising strategist for Romney, Ashley O’Connor, at a forum Tuesday (8/28/2012) hosted by ABCNews and Yahoo! News, said, " we’re not going to let our campaign be dictated by fact checkers,”... confirmed in WP, ABC NEWS, and Romney pollster Neil Newhouse. Is that enough proof? (50 cents says Steers will end up attacking the writers).
