NASA and global warming

EDITOR:

NASA research has proven that CO2 causes global cooling. Who do we believe? Environmental special interests or nationally recognized scientific research organizations?

I haven’t heard a word from our government EPA or the environmentalists on the subject, they are still proclaiming that we are in a warming trend even though the evidence isn’t there. Our own government agencies are saying that we are in a cooling trend. NASA states that CO2 is insignificant in global warming theory.

This just shows you that a large portion of the scientific research that special interests perform is tainted at best. They provide the couch potatoes with lies and deceit knowing that they wouldn’t turn a page of a book to see if they are telling the truth and of course they believe everything that these wonderful environmental organizations say because they tell them to.

For instance cinnabar is a major producer of mercury and is found in its natural forms in the following sites: Culver Bear Mine and Socrates Mine, in Sonoma County; Idria, San Benito County and the Almaden and New Almaden mines in Santa Clara County. Other mines include Nevada’s Cahill Mine in Humboldt County. All of these mercury producing sites are letting off mercury gas into the atmosphere everyday that the temperature is over 700 degrees, but if you go to the surrounding areas you don’t find people being poisoned by it.

Mercury is a natural substance and is found virtually everywhere; why is it such a big problem being in the waterways of California? California has the least amount of mercury in its water in comparison to the east coast — they actually have fish advisories! Not California; so why are we being targeted and jobs thrown to the way side? Between cap and trade and the DMV, along with air quality control and the Department of Fish and Game, miners, construction companies, loggers and farmers are being put out of business.

They have made it so that you can’t sell any equipment that hasn’t been retrofitted with unbelievable costly conversions; if you want new equipment you have throw away your old equipment or try to sell it in another state. As I stated in other letters, our system is broken; it is full of theft and deceit. Our government leaders are not doing anything about the lies that are being bestowed by organizations that prevail from the pockets of hard-working individuals that are becoming the endangered species.

We are losing everything that we have worked for all of our lives so that special interest thieves can propagate their agenda (to rob the public). Enough is enough; write your government representatives or call them and tell them that we are tired of being treated as servants of our government and that we need private oversight committees to verify the science that they proclaim is evidence of our demise. Every day you read where people are changing actual data to fall in line with the wants of greedy organizations — yes and even our own elected government servants. It has got to stop before it is too late — if not already. Get off your chair and do something about it.

http://climate.nasa.gov/scientific-consensus While it is true that our government always tries to screw Joe taxpayer, understand that global warming is very real, and is going to get worse. This argument is so polarizing, but it should not be. Sit in bubble with rising CO2 levels and see how long you live. Change is hard but necessary. Thankfully you older folkes that screwed us in the first place are dying off now, so new generations can take up the fight to protect the environment.

Even though you don't realize it dip wad, you've got what you have in this country because of the older folks. You're always wanting the older folks to kick the bucket which makes me wonder what your folks think about that. Ah ~ never mind.

Yuppie, we don't live in a bubble. We live on the single most ingenious natural air conditioning system in the entire universe. I am fascinated by such comments in the middle of spring when the global warming all around you has life exploding. We have countless amounts of evidence where global cooling has caused massive loss of life and not a single piece of evidence where global warming has. You are just another example where being told what to believe is far simpler than doing any of your own thinking. If less people is your answer then do the right thing and save the planet. Do you need a ride to the Forest Hill bridge?

One example of that explosion of life right now are the inch worms. If you have oak trees you may be wondering what all those tiny shiny strings are that are all over your car, house and yard. The inch worms are hatching right now in the tops of the oak trees. A tiny creature maybe 3/16 of an inch long and a millimeter in diameter produces a tiny piece of web in some cases as long as 50ft in order to lower itself to the ground. They grow up to become caterpillars and the ones that don't get eaten become butterflies and moths. That is my contribution from a hater of science to our friendly ignorant environmentalists.

Chrispy, You and you whining self entitlement rats always blame someone else. Look in the mirror for once and take responsibility. Don't worry though, your generation will kill itself off by other means before our planet does.

People listen to crispy!!! For I once had a woolly mammoth as a pet only a few years back. I miss Mr. Snuffleupagus. chrispytahoe comes from that long line of Progressive Democrats that gave us Sanger, Woodrow Wilson and Byrd. They are gone now. Soon hopefully cripy will join them and my pet in their racist heaven.

Crispy is one of those couch potatoes that lets his peers tell him what is real and not real, if he did any research at all he would know that we are being duped into believing that our planet can only survive if humans go extinct.

Should have read 70 degrees instead of 700 degrees! Sorry about that.
