Need for CHP fee (tax)

EDITOR:

I have paid my “fire tax” under protest. They say I receive a benefit that the city homeowner don’t.

Okay, now I see that the city folks (Oakland and Stockton) are receiving a benefit that the county folks don’t get, enhanced law enforcement protection by CHP.

The city folks now need to pay a “fee” (tax) for this service that I do not receive.

What’s good for the goose is good for the gander.

The redistribution of wealth takes many forms. Isn't liberalism great? It creates poverty and crime and tells the taxpayers that they aren't paying their fair share. joe biden would say that you are being patriotic and nancy pelosi would tell you that you are getting 2 bucks back for every dollar they are charging you. You can't make this stuff up.
