EDITOR: it seems that in some individuals sci-fi encouragements have gone to their heads. John Hess (Feb. 17) is one of them.
The "folks" know nothing. The real images to him are robots of the technical age, so he believes an "Internet cop" should monitor our newspaper editorial page. This, to ensure that the "folks" get only the true information, while at the same time he admits that the Internet can itself be a source of misinformation.
Applied, this can ruin anyone's gain. Our "folks" have an old saying" "Unless one is a genius, it is best to aim at being intelligible."

I agree, no cop needed. But I would go along with a "fact check" link as one of the comment options.
