Nobel Peace Prize given to wrong person

EDITOR:

The Norwegian Storting awards the Nobel peace prize while the Swedish institutions award all the other Nobel prizes. This is the origin for the outlandish award of a peace prize to Barack Obama in 2009. It is unfortunate that this Norwegian group no longer has the intelligence for issuing this honor than it had during Nobel’s time. Obama has never done a single thing to bring peace anywhere in the world but rather brought out increasing anger at home over his attempt to destroy America. He also has brought great disrespect to America by the way he has treated other nations attempting to make them think he is a great Islamic pacifist. The Nobel Peace Prize should be taken away from him and given to Malala Yusufzai who, although very young, has done more towards generating peace in the Arab world than anyone else in the present era.

Yup..Sometimes these institutions that handout awards get so wrapped-up in a politicians charisma they forget to listen to their message .....Is anyone reminded of Time Magazine's 1938 "Man of the Year" award....

My own anger stems from the outrageous falsehoods that are routinely repeated about the President. He is not trying to destroy America. His critics with their utter disregard for reality are the primary culprits in that regard.

The peace prize is not about peace. It just another way of promoting leftism by giving it to those who promote the leftist agenda. No accomplishment required. It is no different than our so-called academics sitting around promoting each others brilliance because they all share the same exact lockstep groupthink. It as big a fraud as giving obama another 4 years. Can't wait to see how high unemployment can get and for how long it can stay there.

Anthony, he is not "trying" to detroy America. He "is" destroying America. This country was founded on the rights and liberty of the "individual", not on the "collective". Please show us all where we can find your right to what others earn in any of the founding documents. If you want to live in a country where you get to live off the efforts of others move to one.

If popular vote determines Nobel peace prize qualification then some very interesting possibilities arise.

HATE-TALK does not PROVE he is not qualified... "Destroying America" & "Disrespect America" is only empty statements .... America is NOT in danger of being destroyed and he is Honoring America as I write this comment. English teachers should use your posts as an excellent examples of the word -- Hyperbole
