Nutting a hardworking man

By From page A5 | July 01, 2013

I have been following the progress of the Nutting lynching; it makes it clear that this is the way Placerville got its name in the gold era (Hangtown). I have been in business in El Dorado County since 1960. My father started the business (Halk Equipment Rentals) and prided himself at being an honest hardworking man. We have seen many supervisors in our district over the last 50 years and Ray Nutting is the hardest working one I have ever seen.

I will continue to believe Ray Nutting has done nothing wrong. I haven’t always agreed with all of his decisions or positions that he has held but I truly believe that Ray does have the courage of his convictions. I will continue to support Ray and his cause, it is things like this that discourages decent, honest citizens from running for office. I firmly believe in the Constitution and Ray will continue to remain innocent until proven guilty, at least in my world, and hopefully in El Dorado County.
