Ken, the corruption goes wide and deep. The Nutting situation is just scratching the surface. I've been researching several of these Board of Supervisors and I've nearly got very detailed, completed reports on the corruption ready to go to the new Grand Jury, but knowing how corrupt the last GJ was that was disbanded by Ron Briggs brother-in-law, I'm not just turning over my reports to the Grand Jury. This time around I'm going to the State AG, respective State District Senators and Congressmen, the FBI, US Senators, US Attorney's Office and other agencies that have specific jurisdiction and investigate public corruption. This is the most corrupt Board of Supervisors, CAO, Assistant CAO and County Government I have every seen. The public needs to wake up and get involved.

One other thing Ken. The Mountain Democrat is selectively covering the news and filling the paper with a lot of puff pieces when it could be filling it with newsworthy, relevant local coverage. I have tried to get some of the information out in Letters to the Editor and the Mountain Democrat doesn't publish them even though I have cited the sources - pathetic. In my opinion, the Democrat covers for these corrupt politicians.

Who do you think pays the bill, yep the politicians and what is to be printed depends on how much you can spend or spin in Ray's world...

Smoking Gun is correct. Refer to yesterdays BOS and click on Open Forum and watch the entire segment. Then also view Item #4 when Sheriff D'Agostini Speaks regarding Toads & Frogs and the Constitution: http://eldorado.granicus.com/MediaPlayer.php?view_id=2&clip_id=209 * To their CREDIT Nutting, Veerkamp and Santiago remain seated after Briggs turned off the audio and left the room.

SmokingGun-Kudos to you!! I hope someone really is going to see if there aren't wrongdoings by others in this county involved in politics and jobs. About time someone took the time to research and question the going ons in this county. Can't just be Nutting; there is a lot more corruption than just his accusations of wrong doing.

Just when you think you have heard it all more is revealed, Ray has now taken out papers for donations for his "legal" defence fund. Now let's think about this one; a person accused of stealing money is asking the people who he stole from to give him more money to defend himself for stealing money from them. Now that is Ray all over..only Ray would think for a moment that tax payers who he stole from would stand in line to help him, get a clue Ray we don't support you.
