Obama: ‘Today’s pattern of obstruction isn’t normal’

EDITOR:

I wonder why it isn’t normal. Could it be that we have a president that wants to get rid of the Constitution? He has gone out of his way to have our Constitution struck down on any of his apathetic agenda proposals; he feels that if his administration decides something is good for America than the constitution shouldn’t stand in the way.

Thank God for our Constitution, otherwise we would be pawns for our new dictator. He and his cronies have managed to implement health care for all even though all don’t want government interfering with their lives. He alone has made climate change something that we can eliminate, which isn’t true, there have been many non-governmental agencies along with NASA stating that we can’t change something that is caused by circumstances beyond our control. He is placing untold restrictions on the use of our lands without peer review of the scientific evidence, whatever the EPA and other environmental groups say is “gospel” and should be implemented.

Our economy can’t survive with unsubstantiated evidence of endangered species habitat needed for their survival. If it were up to the environmentalists, you couldn’t walk outside without first inspecting the ground that you walk on. Put another way, if they can’t justify their existence then they won’t have a job and that is it in a nutshell; it’s time that we made them prove beyond a shadow of doubt that what they are telling us is true instead of their “educated” “I think that it is best” scenario.

We need to stop them from being able to sue any agency to get their way and being paid by us to sue them. That isn’t what the Equal Rights for Justice Act was designed for.

MARTIN SCHUMANN

Mr. Schumann, if you can only hold on for another three years you will be able to spew your vitriol onto Hilliary.

Mr. Schumann, bulls eye. You got him. James just used the words, "spew" and "vitriol". These words indicate a direct hit. Most likely the good colonel is still twitching. Good one, Martin.

The loons have another tactic for implementing their "we know best" authoritarianism. It is the -"what if it is true and we fail to act"- defense. They have moved the ball quite a ways with the low informed, uninformed, misinformed and the just plain stupid using this emotionally based argument. After all if the earth is in peril (according to algore) and we did nothing we have failed the children. With this strategy they can bypass science, logic, reason, historical and geological evidence and even ignore the big orange fire ball in the sky that is responsible for every last drop of life giving warmth this planet experiences. Taxing the weather is the most ingenious redistribution of wealth scheme ever concocted. Blaming man's activities for the four seasons leads to the thing leftists live for, ultimate and incontestable control.

This is almost too revolting to even share but it is important to remind people of what passes for intellectual stimuli among those proclaiming to be educated and informed. http://www.ijreview.com/2013/12/100237-wont-believe-word-msnbc-host-just-equated-well-known-racial-epithet/

"He has gone out of his way to have our Constitution struck down on any of his apathetic agenda proposals." Mr. Schumann, this part of the sentence needs some work.

You said: "we have a president that wants to get rid of the Constitution." On what proof.... on a fallacy? false or invalid inference?...... Lincoln knew about REAL threats to the Constitution........."Insurgent agents were in the city seeking to destroy [the Union] without war -- seeking to dissolve the Union, and divide effects by negotiation. Both parties deprecated war; but one of them would make war rather than let the nation survive." ........ A majority of this country supported the Health Care bill.... Even the Supreme Court.... IF you don't like it...... MAKE IT BETTER.... Don't divide this country and bring the Union down with it....

I find your statement "Lincoln knew about REAL threats to the Constitution" quite telling of your knowledge of revisionist history and total devoid of actual history. Lincoln sought to and accomplished dissolving states rights in favor of federal government authority. Lincoln's intent was to preserve the "union" not defend the Constitution. The Constitution was drastically altered under Lincoln. "The Tenth Amendment was included in the Bill of Rights to further define the balance of power between the federal government and the states. The amendment says that the federal government has only those powers specifically granted by the Constitution. These powers include the power to declare war, to collect taxes, to regulate interstate business activities and others that are listed in the articles." http://constitutioncenter.org/constitution/the-amendments/amendment-10-powers-of-the-states-and-people

You are just like a mushroom, and we all know how to grow mushrooms. Just a few of the conflicts obama has with the Constitution. The 1st Amendment grants freedom of the press, freedom or religion and free speech. obama and his regime has found these guarantees to be very inconvenient. The freedom of the press has led to spying on, illegal confiscation from, threatening and silencing the press. Freedom of religion would exempt millions from obamacare. Freedom of speech is a one way street with every leftist. The 2nd Amendment? Do we really need to go there? The 4th Amendment has been shredded under obama. I realize people of your political leanings have an aversion to things you just don't want to know but your messiah views the Constitution as not going far enough and a document of negative rights. Not going far enough because it doesn't establish the government's authority to create equal outcomes and negative rights because it limits what the government can do "for" (to) the citizens. I really don't buy your playing dumb or claiming ignorance on these issues, I think you are perfectly aware, but you line up so perfectly with obama's view of this country that you don't see his revulsion of limitations on government and the rule of law as being an indication of anything other some cockamamie moral high ground. In other words, his disdain for the Constitution is what you have been waiting for.

Dink, did you see how fast obama ran up the stairs to shake hands with Raul Castro, the evil dictator of Cuba at Mandela's funeral? It was reminiscent of how overjoyed you would be to meet your messiah. The leftist media went into instant spin mode.

Yes, you're right Cookie.... President Obama ran up the stairs, knocked over President Carter, tripped over Prime mister Cameron and his wife (but stopped to take a picture all three) and darted over, hugged and kissed Raul Castro on 'both' cheeks and slipped a private letter in his pocket (it must have had some secret codes or something)..... Wow..... #blameobama

According to Cookie's philosophy.... Blacks can still be slaves, public should NOT vote for Senators, and women should NOT have the right to vote..... (I thought you were a woman Cookie.... So you don't want the right to vote?) per your 5:31 a.m. post...
