The residents of Placerville have a golden opportunity to make the city council better this coming election season. I have known Trisha Wilkins for several years and I know she is the person Placerville needs to ensure that the city council is more effective and responsive to its constituency. The only agenda Trisha has is to make the city a better place for her family and all the people of Placerville to live. She is an advocate of local business, and wants to ensure that local entrepreneurship has a voice within the city. In recent times the city council’s image has been tarnished due to self-enrichment. Trisha does not have large amounts of property within the city that she wants to develop. She simply wants to keep business strong and the city safe.
Although the Mountain Democrat decided not to endorse Trisha’s candidacy, I would urge citizens to vote for her, because she has a fresh perspective that has not been tarnished by the inner-workings of Placerville politics in recent years. Trisha Wilkins, like other citizens of Placerville, have had to live by the actions of the city council, and that is largely why she has decided to run for office.
She has the commitment and steadfast nature to make the city work better for its residents, and I would urge everyone in Placerville to cast their vote for Trisha Wilkins.

I am a resident who does not believe the City Council's image has been tarnished due to self-enrichment, nor do I believe it has been tarnished by the inner-workings of Placerville politics. But it seems that Trisha's supporters would like us to believe that.
