EDITOR: I live up in Pollock Pines. We have a bus stop on the corner of Pony Express and Bonanza Street. Many people: Parents, grandparents and neighbors, cleaned up our stop so that one could see the children from all sides. We just did it.

There were drugs found — needles, baggies — and the appropriate departments came to help. (DOT being one of them.) Yesterday the DOT came up and cleaned streets of pine needles. They did a beautiful job our corner and we thank them.
Thank you for making sure our bus stop remains clear. We still have needles on the upper side away from the street. We can get those, because we, as a group, want our children to be safe.
