Raggedy Ann and Andy

EDITOR:

Thank you Mountain Democrat for the May 13 informative and uplifting article about the St. Patrick’s Ladies Society Luncheon featuring Raggedy Ann and Andy held on May 11 at St. Patrick’s church. Dawn Hodson’s writing and Pat Dollins’ color photos brought to life the fun and excitement of the event for readers who were unable to attend.

One month later I am still hearing positive comments regarding the article. Readers appreciated the positive front-page article and especially the use of color photos to compliment and highlight the luncheon’s theme. Dawn Hodson’s ability to capture my personal thoughts and sentiments regarding the theme brought out a human element that made the article stand out. The Mountain Democrat is fortunate to have such a talented writer.
