I just wanted to share a story about a random act of kindness that my husband experienced on Thursday, Dec. 27 in the early afternoon. We have been really struggling financially like a lot of other people. My husband has been really stressed and depressed cause of this. He received a gift card for Starbucks as a Christmas gift. So on Thursday he really was feeling down so he decided to go get a coffee. When he got there another car came in from another direction; my husband stopped and allowed the woman to go in front of him in line. He ordered his drink and drove up to the window. The barista told my husband it was his lucky day cause the lady in front of him paid for his drink. My husband was in shock; things like this don’t happen to him. He received his drink and stopped to text me what happened. He explained everything that happened and said he was really feeling depressed but this really made his day. He said the lady had already left so he wasn’t able to tell her thank you. So to the lady that was at the Starbucks on Broadway in Placerville, driving the lifted Ford Excursion that day, thank you for what you did. You really lifted my husband’s spirits.
