JOHN PATRICK O’SHEA writes - "In his defense . . . he provides a timeline of actions and events that clearly lays the responsibility for our fiscal crisis at the feet of George W. Bush." - Am I in an echo chamber? Or is the President submitting letters to the editor under the moniker "Harry Zelinka"?

When the libs (frank and dodd) decided it was a right to own a home and forced lenders to buy homes (no down, no documents) for people who could not make the first months utility payment it was bound to emplode. When the libs (pelose and reid) took over congress in 07 is when the collapse began.

Dog. Supermarket. President. baked or fried?
Worth repeatingNovember 02, 2012 - 6:41 pm
Worth repeating; I commend Harry Zelinka for his diligent historical research into the cause of our current economic situation (Letters: “Bush is to blame”). In his defense of President Obama, he provides a timeline of actions and events that clearly lays the responsibility for our fiscal crisis at the feet of George W. Bush. Although I was already inclined to accept Mr. Zelinka’s argument, I believe he has a long way to go if he wishes to “preach” to anyone other than the choir. I came to that conclusion when I read the letter following Mr. Zelinka’s entitled, “Ignoring laws.” The writer, after observing a woman bringing her non-service dog into a supermarket, was thoroughly convinced that her violation of the law was directly traceable to the example set by the president’s alleged disregard for our country’s laws. Somehow, I don’t think a person who blames the President of the United States for the actions of a local scofflaw will listen to a reasoned argument about the source of our country’s problems. This is a guess, but an educated one. Would the letter writer of "Ignoring Laws" be cookie 65? If so, this all makes sense.
