Roundabout: I am amazed that the City planners would consider a roundabout without a business impact report or even a concern for any business impacted by this project. A few years back we were going to do a small addition to our business on Main St. but the $18,000 parking impact fee put a stop to that. I could only imagine how I would feel to pay this fee and then the city to remove 43 parking spaces. The city planners say that they are going to add parking up the street a quarter mile, unbelievable. Who is going to park a quarter mile away to run in to buy something? Maybe customers would on a nice spring day but IÕll guarantee they wonÕt on a rainy day. The City planners say the roundabout will reduce smog, can you believe that? They know about smog reduction but seem to not even care about business reduction. Here is a question to you customers on Main St: Would you walk a quarter mile to stop in a shop on Main St.?
